How awesome is Jesus?

Our minds cannot fathom all of the wonders of Jesus. Jesus is the epitome of Wonderful. We stand in awe of Jesus. When I think of Jesus I am filled with overwhelming gratitude. Words cannot describe my feelings, only Jesus knows.

Jesus is our Counselor. When we need wisdom or guidance we should turn to Christ. He is our “go to.” We can trust Him in ALL things.

“And the spirit of the Lord shall rest upon him, the spirit of wisdom and understanding, the spirit of counsel and might, the spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the Lord” ~ Isaiah 11:2, KJV

Jesus is Mighty God. Jesus has all authority in and under heaven given to him by God (Matt. 28:18). Jesus said:

“I and my Father are one.” ~ John 10:30, KJV
“Whoever has seen me has seen the Father…The words that I say to you I do not speak on my own authority, but the Father who dwells in me does his works. Believe me that I am in the Father and the Father is in me” ~ John 14:9-11; ESV

How majestic is your name! Jesus is Power. When we need strength, we should to turn to Jesus, since with Him all things are possible (Matt. 19:26). We know Jesus is a warrior & will fight for His people.

“I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; no one will snatch them out of my hand. My Father, who has given them to me, is greater than all; no one can snatch them out of my Father’s hand.” ~ John 10:28-29, NIV

We know that Jesus is “The Father of Eternity.” It is through Jesus we can receive everlasting life. Like a father He is ever present, ever caring. There are no orphans or fatherless people, when Jesus is our compassionate guardian and provider. When we need comfort, we can turn to Jesus for an eternity – He is always available. His kingdom knows no end.

“…and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world.” ~ Matthew 28:20, KJV

Jesus is the Prince whose coming brings Peace. With Jesus’ first coming – His birth, death, & resurrection – He has already established Peace between God & Man. Jesus will make all things right. The fullness of his blessing will be with Jesus’ his return – His second coming – when He establishes His never-ending Kingdom of PEACE here on earth.

“Of the increase of his government and of peace there will be no end, on the throne of David and over his kingdom, to establish it and to uphold it with justice and with righteousness from this time forth and forevermore. The zeal of the Lord of hosts will do this.” ~ Isaiah 9:7, ESV

For Jesus is our Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, & Prince of Peace forever and ever. Amen.
